This site is mainly dedicated to photography which is one of my passions. However, a bit about my self is in place to show you who I am and what my other passions are.

Engineer: I  have an education as a control engineer at Aalborg University (M.Sc.E. E.) which I finished in 2006. Specialising in Modelling and control mainly og thermodynamical system and discrete event/hybrid systems. Master thesis: Model Based Control of Benson Boilers – A Hybrid Approach.

One of my interests is renewable energy and getting towards a sustainable energy prodruction. In 2006 I was hired by DONG Energy to dive into an industrial PhD project about next generation of dynamic balancing control of the production portfolio.

The main topic of my work in DONG Energy after the PhD involves system level control in order to make the power system more flexible to meet the challenges of tomorrow. So while everyone is talking about the green house gasses and smart grids I do something about it.

Parallel to the main topic I have been involved in several university projects where DONG Energy is involved such as CMBC and Plug and Play Process control.

Photography: My big passion is photography, as is obvious from the website and my current photography project. In 2005 and I bought my first digital camera since I was going to Canada for 4 month and wanted to capture some memories of that experience. It was fun to play around with, even with very little knowledge about photography. In 2009 I gave in and bought my beloved Sony Alpha 200, a fine beginner DSLR camera. Since then photography has been a like a roller coaster ride and I have and is constantly learning and improving. I simply love photography and love to share the experience with other like minded people in the hope that I can learn even more.

I am not trying to define my self as being a certain type of photographer, since I think it will limit me. I am still curious about most aspects of photography. You will likely see more landscape and inanimate objects in my photos, which has more to do with my fear of approaching strangers than with my interest in photographing people.

Programming: Another one of my hobbies are programming. I was taught programming as part of my professional education, but I like to fiddle around with small hobby projects. I mainly program in Java and PHP. That being said I don’t have anything public available at the moment, though I am working on a small application for the android mobile platform.

The only thing readily available for the public to see is the guild website of the Everquest 2 guild I am an officer in, which I have build and maintain as well as this site.
