Another session went by where I tried to shoot bees. This one was the most successful shot with my 200mm tele zoom. One thing I noted during post processing; is remember to check your ISO settings when shooting…. Mine was set to 800. But that being said, I think this is a fairly successful shot.

Dinner and a Zoo
May 2
I had a week of vacation of which I spent a night at Store Restrup Herregård with a lovely dinner and wine. I also had the opportunity for a few shot of the impressive building. The colours where really not that prominent on the photo and the contrast of the photo seems to make it good for a black and white shot. Probably coupled with inspiration of a photo magazine I read just before I started on this photo.
I used an ND4 filter to get most details into the sky, but even then the sky around the sun burned out. I think I shot is at a good time of day though.
The day after the dinner we went to Aalborg Zoo, without any excuses of kids and so on, but because we love animals. I got picked the Toucan photo because the colours are lovely, even though there are a few others with good composition as well. You can see a few more shots from the zoo here.

Neo – my sisters cat
Jan 31
I was visiting my sister and her boyfriend, to celebrate that he just got a new job. So I took the opportunity to get a few shots of the cat. This is one of the better, and I like it. There are a few more in the gallery if interested, as well as a few shots of my sister’s boyfriend’s niece.
You can see a few more photos of the two here
